1. Introduction
By using the Holango.com website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), users accept these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “T&C”). The Website is operated by Holango Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”). The purpose of these T&C is to establish the rules governing the use of the Website.
2. Data Management Rules
2.1 Data Management Principles
The Operator manages user data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Providing data is voluntary, and users explicitly consent to the management of their data by registering on the Website.
2.2 User Data in Case of Joining Classes
When users join classes, their names and email addresses become visible to the class creator and administrators. Class creators and schools commit to treating this data confidentially, not sharing it with third parties, and not using it for marketing purposes.
2.3 Marketing Use of Data
User email addresses will only be used for marketing purposes if users explicitly consent to this during registration. Any other use of email addresses is prohibited.
3. Management of User Content
3.1 License to Use Content
Images uploaded by users as part of vocabulary sets (hereinafter referred to as “Content”) will always be visible and freely usable by others, including images in private vocabularies. By uploading Content, users declare that the Content:
• is not copyright-protected,
• is freely usable.
If uploaded Content infringes copyrights or violates the rights of third parties, the uploader assumes full responsibility for it.
3.2 Prohibited Content
Content uploaded by users must not contain:
• sexual or pornographic material,
• content promoting violence,
• hate speech, racist, or discriminatory material,
• content inciting religious or political hatred,
• material that endangers the moral development of children,
• illegal, unethical, or otherwise immoral content.
Prohibited Content will be immediately removed by the Operator, and legal action may be taken against the responsible user.
4. Communication and Responsibilities
4.1 Conditions of Communication
Users must provide a valid and accessible email address through which the Operator can contact them if necessary. The Operator is not responsible for interrupted communication due to an invalid or inaccessible email address.
4.2 Handling Violations
If a user:
• attacks the Website or its community,
• defames others,
• causes technical damage,
• engages in any activity violating the Criminal Code,
the Operator reserves the right to forward the user’s identification data (IP address, email address, login information) to the competent authorities.
5. Data Loss and Protection Against Attacks
The Operator takes all reasonable measures to protect data. In case of attacks or data loss beyond its control:
• the Operator assumes no liability,
• daily data backups are created, which can be restored if necessary.
6. Final Provisions
By accepting these T&C, users declare that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined above. The Operator reserves the right to amend these terms and will notify users in a timely manner of any changes.
